Idyllwild summer camps come two ways. There are day camps and resident camps. Day campers go to camp everyday for certain specified camp hours and resident campers attend overnight for 1 or 2 weeks at a time. If you are the parent of a younger child or one who is shy, you might consider the Idyllwild day camps. Resident camps are great as well, but tend to lend themselves more to older campers. Either way, parents can vacation side by side with their campers, enjoying their Idyllwild days hiking, reading a book, or just plain relaxing.
